What is Gynecomastia?

Removal of male breasts. This treatment is usually a combination of mastectomy and Vaser Liposuction, to help reduce fat and tighten skin around the muscles beneath.

Gynecomastia, or 'male breast reduction', is a surgical procedure that eliminates enlarged breast tissue in males. We remove excess glandular tissue, localised fat deposits and sometimes excess skin to create desirable chest contours and reveal the muscles underneath.

This procedure is often performed with a combination of tissue removal, vaser liposuction and skin tightening.

What Can I Expect from my Gynecomastia?

More masculine chest contours

By flattening the chest and revealing the muscle / structure beneath, we create a more traditional masculine appearance to your silhouette which will fit better in clothes and be less pronounced in general.

Clothes will fit better

A lot of mens clothes are designed to fit flat across the chest, and having excess tissue can affect how you choose your wardrobe, and how confident you feel in your clothes.

More social confidence

Excess breast tissue in men can be a source of social anxiety and worry, especially in situations where you may have to have your shirt off like a beach or a pool.

This patient had a Vaser Liposuction alongside excess skin and glandular tissue removal, to sculpt and contour the chest and create a more masculine silhouette.
